I am based in Dun Laoghaire Co. Dublin and work throughout Dublin and Leinster. I provide an efficient, friendly and professional solution to all your domestic, commercial and public wooden door and sash window restoration and conservation needs. I am a trained and qualified woodworker with experience most of my life and specialise in all aspects of sash window work, restoration and draught-proofing.

I restore doors and sash windows where possible and will do my upmost to ensure that the original details are kept intact. This also includes the glazing, old timber plus metal fittings.

My work meets with conservation guidelines and I have studied historic records to find suitable techniques in order to match some of the procedures used by master craftsmen from previous generations.

With more than thirty years of experience in carpentry, cabinetmaking, sash window construction and restoration as well as being highly qualified. When I started doing restoration I began to study the original construction techniques used by the master craftsmen who created the original pieces, and I have applied this knowledge in restoring their work to its original glory.

I have worked on large projects for the commercial, consumer and public sectors and completed successful restorations on pieces that were centuries old. Large or small, all work receives the same professional care and attention to even the most minute details, with the added benefit that the repairs will enhance energy efficiency considerably and reduce heating costs for the building when finished.
